Hydrolyzed Whey Protein
Hydrolyzed Whey Proteins have certain physiological functions such as decreased allergenicity, antigenicity, enhanced protein absorption, and bioactive peptides having certain physiological functions (McGregor and Poppitt, 2013).
Hydrolyzed Whey Proteins derive from whey protein isolate which are treated with enzymes that break the bonds that hold amino acids together; proteins are thus fractionated into chains of di- and tri-peptides, some bioactive with certain physiological functions, which are absorbed very quickly.
