Omega 3 are polyunsaturated long-chain (mainly EPA and DHA) fatty acids which are important for the normal functioning of the organism. Unlike the omega 6 and omega 9, present in the normal diet, omega 3 have a lower availability and so are more precious; they are derived from sea fish oils with fine purification processes.
